what does a software engineer do

whatdoes a software engineer do?  software engineer applies mathematical analysis and the principles of computer science in order to design and develop computer software. There are many types of software that a software engineer can develop, such as operating systems, computer games, middleware, business applications and network control systems.

Software Engineers working as a programmer - there are other roles too. This may seem an "idealized" version - but that's what I will share what I have experienced.
I use softwares for learning and developing more of them.

My life is inspired by the web to a great extent. And I appreciate the beauty of a well developed product - from a little mobile application to giant networking websites.
The best part is contributing to what you and your surroundings use everyday - web.
Most software engineers work as employees or contractors. Software engineers work with businesses, government agencies (civilian or military), and non-profit organizations. Some software engineers work on their own as consulting software engineers. Some organizations have specialists to perform all of the tasks in the software development process. Other organizations separate software engineers based on specific software-engineering tasks.

A software engineer is capable of working for a wide variety of companies, such as IT providers and consultancies, electronics companies, and software firms.  They can be found in practically any organization using computer systems.  In general, they can be split into two types: engineers applications and engineers of systems software.
